This piece grew out of an interest in vision, perspective, and the mystery of what lies beyond what we can easily explain. The winged eye drifting above the clouds felt both surreal and peaceful to me, like a symbol of wonder, intuition, and freedom. I wanted the painting to feel dreamlike, while still inviting a quiet sense of reflection.
